
South Dakota State University instructor of low brass Bradley Snyder will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall.
The program, titled “Musical Storytellers,” will include a variety of solo works for tenor and bass trombone. Snyder will be joined by Xuan Kuang on the piano.
Works to be performed include selections from “The House of Life” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, “Sonata for Bass Trombone and Piano: Call of the Opera” by Christopher Alan Schmitz, “On Your Own Now’ by Steven Verhelst, “Of Clowns and Dreams” by John Harmon and “Soundtrack for Trombone and Orchestra” by Brian Sadler.
