Jazz ensembles at South Dakota State University will provide a free performance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Larson Memorial Concert Hall in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on campus.
Jazz ensembles I and II will perform music by Count Basie, Juan Tizol, Les Hooper, Doug Beach, Paquito D'Rivera, Cannonball Adderley and Neal Hefti.
Both ensembles are under the direction of Yiqun Chen, a lecturer of saxophone and jazz studies in the School of Performing Arts.
