South Dakota State University will host three community input sessions as part of its strategic plan refresh of Imagine 2023. All members of the public are invited to attend.
The sessions will serve as an opportunity to provide input into the university’s four goals focused on: academic excellence through transformative education; cultivating and strengthening community engagement; fostering innovation and increasing research, scholarship and creative activity; and being a growing, high-performing and healthy university.
“The mission of South Dakota State University is about access to higher education and serving the people of the great state of South Dakota,” SDSU President Barry Dunn said. “These sessions are an opportunity for the citizens of the state to provide critical and important feedback into this process and to help define the strategic direction of SDSU for the next five years. We certainly hope as many people as possible will join us for these important conversations.”
The sessions will be led by Dennis Hedge, provost and vice president for academic affairs, and Michaela Willis, vice president for student affairs and enrollment. The sessions will be held at:
