According to a recent Business Insider report, being a Physicists ranks in the Top Ten (10) as being a high-paying, low-stress job. The report identified jobs with average annual salaries of at least $75,000 and then ranked each one by their stress tolerance score. Stress tolerance scores were obtained from the U.S. Department of Labor's occupational database. The database measures stress tolerance, describing as "accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations," on a 100-point scale, with 0 being unimportant and 100 being very important. Physicist’s stress tolerance scored a "61", with an average annual salary of $123,080.
