Between Classes: TRIO Student Support Services provides programs for college transition

TRIO Student Support Services at South Dakota State University offers advising, academic and career planning resources for students transitioning into college.

Located across the hall from the convenience store in Larson Commons, TRIO advocates for access and success in college, and provides students resources to support this mission. Students can be helped with anything from study habits to getting along with a roommate.

Services are available to students who are a first-generation college student, a PELL grant recipient or have a documented disability.

In this episode of Between Classes, Jordan Hilbert, a TRIO Support Services Retention Adviser at SDState, talks about how students can use the resources TRIO has to offer.
