Non-thesis, Business Economics Master’s Option launched Fall 2018 for business & industry- oriented professionals

Department of Economics

The applied business economics option includes courses in managerial economics and advanced business decision science.  Students customize their plans of study with elective courses in corporate finance, strategic marketing, entrepreneurship, agricultural business and marketing depending on their current or preferred career path.

Coursework is offered in flexible formats, including hybrid, evening and weekend courses, that allow students to complete this option in 12 or 24 months, depending on work and other commitments.

A case-based strategic business decision analysis capstone course in the summer will integrate and enhance the academic experience with practical application.
