Nancy M. Dahl, author of “Grounded—leading your life with intention,” will be the keynote speaker at the 13th annual South Dakota Entrepreneurship Education Conference, which will take place Feb. 22 at the McCrory Gardens Education and Visitor Center. The conference, also known as Launch, starts at 9:30 a.m. South Dakota State University is hosting the event for the sixth-straight year.
Dahl, who was president and CEO of a $750 million corporation, will speak at 10:15 and 1:30 p.m. Her work now is dedicated to speaking, writing and serving as a C-suite/board business adviser. Her blog, “Lead Your Life,” at www.nancymdahl.com, reaches a global audience dedicated to leading their life with intention.
Also speaking are George Kembel, co-founder of the Stanford d.school and director of dglobal.org; Renee Bauman, co-founder of Hitch Studio; Chelsea Tracy, owner of Chelsea’s Boutique; Thad Giedd, client specialist with the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship; and Andrew Royer, owner of GoodLife Property Management.
The SDSU Ness Division of Management and Economics is an event sponsor. The conference again features entrepreneurs at various levels of success/achievement to discuss their experiences with students.
