  • Extra-long twin mattress (36''x80'')

In each room:

  • Blinds/window covering
  • Wastebasket
  • Mirror
  • Outlets
  • Cable Jack (subscription required)
  • Internet access

In each hall:

  • Vacuum/Broom
  • Rubber mallets to adjust lofted beds
  • Television
  • Laundry facilities
  • Kitchen facilities

You can bring

Each resident:

  • Extra-long twin sheets
  • Towel
  • Futons (78'' or less will fit under bed)
  • Push pins (Abbott, Spencer, Thorne, Caldwell, Meadows, Hyde, Ben Reifel, Schultz and Honors)
  • OR 3M or similar poster products (Binnewies, Young, Pierson, Mathews, Brown, Hansen and Waneta)
  • Stereo
  • Desk lamp
  • Television
  • Computer
  • Appliances with thermostats, automatic shutoffs and no open coils (i.e. crock pots, coffee pots, toasters, popcorn poppers)
  • Refrigerator (cannot exceed 1.5 amps or 5 cubic feet)
  • UL approved power strips
  • Free standing furnishings (i.e. entertainment centers, shelving)

Each room:

  • Microwave (cannot exceed 700 watts)
  • Carpet or area rug (rooms in Ben Reifel, Hyde, Schultz and Honors are carpeted)

Leave at home

  • Homemade or rented lofts
  • Bed risers
  • Waterbed
  • Sofa bed
  • Non-UL approved power strips
  • Extension cords
  • Refrigerators over 1.5 amps or 5 cubic feet
  • Open element appliances, such as:
    • Space heaters
    • Immersion heaters
    • Kerosene heaters
    • Hot plates
    • Broilers
    • Ovens
    • Electric skillet/fry pans,
    • Pizza cookers (i.e. Pizza Pizzazz)
    • Sun lamps, halogen lamps, lava lamps and neon signs
  • Window air conditioning units
  • Outside antennae/satellite dishes
  • Potpourri pots (candles and electric)
  • Candle warmers
  • Carpet padding
  • Nails and screws
  • Living or formerly living trees, garland, etc. (seasonal decoration)
  • Wall paint
  • Alternative light bulbs for your room (i.e. black light bulbs, color bulbs)
  • Dart boards
