Transfer & Returning Students Virtual NSO Schedule

My Virtual NSO Schedule

SDSU Student Outside

All scheduled virtual NSO content will take place using Zoom teleconferencing technology, which works best on a laptop/desktop with a stable internet connection. A working camera and microphone are recommended for the most optimal experience. Zoom links will be emailed to students' Jacks accounts.

Advising and Registration

Students will be responsible for scheduling their own advising appointments through ConnectState, which is linked in MyState. Appointments may be scheduled for the day of your session or shortly thereafter. Watch your Jacks email about one week before your session to learn how to book your advising appointment.

A note for families: Advising appointments are intended for students. Outside of that, we welcome family members to join in on the information-gathering fun beginning at 9:00 a.m. on your student's scheduled date. Students, please be sure to share appropriate schedules and links with them prior to your session.

9:00-10:00 a.m. CST — Getting Started at SDState  (Academic College Meetings)

This session will include welcome messages from academic college administration, an introduction to academics and advising, some tips on how to get the most out of your Virtual NSO session, and a chance to connect with Orientation Leaders.

10:00 a.m.-Noon CST — Virtual Resource Fair

Campus offices will host drop-in style Zoom rooms to answer questions.

The links below lead to that office's webpage. Check your Jacks email for Zoom links just before your scheduled Virtual NSO date.
