All scheduled virtual NSO content will take place using Zoom teleconferencing technology.

Advising and Registration (students only)

Students will be responsible for scheduling their own advising appointments through ConnectState, which is linked in MyState. Appointments may be scheduled for the day of your session or shortly thereafter. Watch your Jacks email about one week before your session to learn how to book your advising appointment.

A note for families: Advising appointments are intended for students. Outside of that, we welcome family members to join in on the information-gathering fun beginning at 9:00 a.m. on your student's scheduled date. Students, please be sure to share appropriate schedules and links with them prior to your session.

9:00-10:00 a.m. CST — Getting Started at SDState  (Academic College Meetings)

This session is intended for students and will include welcome messages from University administration, information on our fall 2020 return to campus, an introduction to academics and advising, and a chance to connect with your Orientation Leaders.

10:00 a.m.-Noon CST — Virtual Resource Fair

Campus offices will host drop-in style Zoom rooms to answer questions.

The links below route to the individual web pages for each office. The official Zoom links will be sent to your Jacks and alternative (if provided) emails prior to your scheduled session date.
