Commodity Risk Management Minor
Commodity Risk Management is a new minor in the Ness School. This minor focuses on skills like hedging techniques, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, price forecasting, and risk analysis. During classes for this minor students will get to use the First Dakota National Bank e-Trading Lab to learn about risk management and manage agricultural commodities in real life situations. These skills are useful to agricultural producers and producers’ industry partners like brokers, bankers, insurance agents, input suppliers, buyers, etc.. This minor can also benefit graduates going into agribusiness that are interested in controlling costs and pricing byproducts.
