As an agronomy specialist trainee you will be responsible for providing seed, crop nutrition and protection products, and other agronomic solutions to our clients during the growing season. During your 12-24 month training period, a mentor will help facilitate learning in seed, agronomy, precision agriculture, and all facets of MaxYield. As a member of our grain team you will be responsible for contacting existing and potential clients via outbound phone and face-to-face on-the-farm sales calls, and providing them with grain marketing and risk management solutions. You’ll spend your first 8-12 months working side by side with MaxYield’s grain team leaders in our West Bend corporate office, where your mentor will help you learn markets, commodities, risk management and all facets of MaxYield Cooperative. Upon successful completion of your training program you will be assigned your origination territory within MaxYield’s trade area. It is important that you are team-oriented, have strong computer including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. We don't require that you are an "expert" at all things grain on the first day, but we do want you to have a strong willingness to learn!
