Whether it’s mental health, extra academic support or physical wellbeing, there are resources here to help you navigate through life. There are so many perks to being a Jackrabbit - make sure to check out and take advantage of these FREE resources!

The Office of Career Development

The Office of Career Development is here to help you with major and career exploration, interview preparation, the job search, resume and cover letter review and more! Additionally, you can find information regarding the multiple career fairs that are hosted on campus every semester in their office or website. They are here to help SDSU students achieve their dreams - let them help you by visiting their office in the University Student Union!

The Wintrode Tutoring Program 

Need some help with studying for your exams? Get help at the Wintrode Center! Wintrode's Tutoring Program has multiple sessions for a number of classes in both group and one-on-one settings. Can't find the class you need help with? You can request a course, too! The Wintrode Student Success and Opportunity Center is located in the southwest corner of campus and is a great resource for students no matter if their goal is to graduate with a high GPA or boost their grades in current classes.

The Writing Center

Do you want some help with the creative writing process? The writing center has your back - they offer free writing consultations that can cover any part of the writing process! Whether it's a research paper for your marketing class or an essay for your composition course, they can help you. They even offer free writing consultations for anything from determining the ideas, focus and framework of your writing to citing sources and figuring out how semicolons work! Located in 103 Hilton M. Briggs Library, you can get help with all your writing needs from English Instructors and graduate students who have all taught ENGL 101 and other writing courses!

The Math Help Center

Are you struggling to understand concepts of calculus or how to find the x? Check out the Math Help Center to gain a better understanding of what's going on in your math classes! Located in the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall, room 292, the math tutoring center is free for SDSU students and can help you with classes like algebra, calculus and statistics! This service is walk-in with hours varying throughout the week.

TRIO SSS Services

Have you heard of the TRIO Programs? TRIO Programs are a set of college opportunity programs that advocate for college access and success. They support first generation and income eligible students in college access, preparation and success in the transition to college. The staff truly supports and helps with a variety of supports including advising, academic resources, peer mentoring, career planning and involvement opportunities!

Student Health Clinic & Counseling Services

Your mental and physical health are important, especially when college life gets tough! SDSU's Student Health Clinic and Counseling Services are located in the Miller Wellness Center and are here to promote the health and wellness of the university community, enhance student retention, and support the academic and personal success of all students. Most importantly, they are here to help you! They offer individual, group or couple therapy to help you take care of your mental health and can help with general medical care, sexual health, physicals, immunizations, medication administration and lab services for your physical health!
