
Kim Tyler is newly retired from the Kellogg Company after nearly 31 years. Kim’s most recent role was Vice President of the Alternate Channels Sales Team. During her tenure, she held a variety of sales leadership positions in Chicago, Cleveland and Minneapolis encompassing national and regional customers such as SUPERVALU, Whole Foods, Amazon.com, the U.S. Military, Giant Eagle, Meijer and Albertsons. She earned her bachelors’ degree in commercial economics from SDSU in 1982. While at State, Kim was a letter winner on the Jackrabbit women’s tennis and volleyball teams. The Sioux Falls native was also a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron. Her parents Bill Tyler and the late Ruth Tyler were both 1951 SDSU graduates. Kim is married to Joseph Walker, retired president/owner of Tallgrass Broadcasting, LLC.
Kim currently serves as Vice Chair of the SDSU Foundation and is a member of the William M. Griffith lifetime giving society.
