NRM Undergraduate Living-Learning Community

Living-Learning Communities at SDSU provide an environment for residents to connect their academics with life outside the classroom. Students who are accepted to live and participate in these communities have the opportunity to live on the same floor of a residence hall with others whose academic interests match their own. The NRM-LLC is designed to strengthen the link between our students and the faculty and their research groups within NRM. This LLC connects academic and residential experiences around the multidisciplinary challenge of managing, conserving and/or preserving natural resources in a sustainable way for future generations. The LLC features a one-day retreat at Oak Lake Field station each fall along with regular weekly activities including study groups, field trips, invited speakers, group discussions on NRM research or issues and social events with NRM students and faculty.
