Our Mission

The Multicultural Center at South Dakota State University develops campus initiatives that demonstrate the valued practice and philosophy of multiculturalism within the university community. Programs and activities developed by the office promote high achievement among the increasing number of minority students at South Dakota State University. The office enhances the University mission by broadening the social, cultural, educational, and recreational experience of students.

Hartenhoff-Crooks Receives Friend Award for Leadership in Online Ed Alliance

Nancy Hartenhoff-Crooks, the coordinator of disability services at South Dakota State University, received the 2021 Friend of the Great Plains IDEA Award. She was one of five individuals honored at Tuesday’s Great Plains IDEA annual meeting.
