This machine can be used to look for cracks and anomalies in specimens that are denser than 2" of steel. This system is a heavy duty industrial immersion and gantry system used for ultrasonic inspection. It is capable of pulse-echo and/or through transmission modes to detect the location, orientation, and size of material voids and abnormalities in a variety of structures, materials, and surfaces. Its closed-loop controls and high torque, low noise micro-stepping motors allows for precise control of the sensors as well as the inspected specimen.
