Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

There are three options available for the Master of Science (M.S.) degree.

  • Thesis (Option "A") for those interested in conducting research
  • Design paper (Option "B") for those wishing to concentrate on engineering design
  • Course work only (Option "C")

Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural, Biosystems and Mechanical Engineering

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree is offered jointly with the ABE department. The Ph.D. is a research degree leading to work in academics, industry, or government research and development. Candidates may enter the program directly from a bachelor's program or after completing an M.S. degree.

See the link in the navigation menu for more information.

Master of Engineering

The Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree is a professional master's degree designed to prepare engineers for roles as technical leaders and managers. The M.Eng. degree is offered through the Department of Construction and Operations Management. A Mechanical Engineering track is available.

See the link in the navigation menu for more information.
