Complete a master's degree with one more year of study? Why not!
Our graduates can and do get great jobs with bachelor's degrees in mathematics or data science, but there is no denying that those with master's degree are more capable, and thus qualify for more interesting, high impact, and lucrative careers. Our bachelor's degrees can be structured to allow completion of a master's degree with just one additional year of study.
What are the options?
The M.S. in Data Science can be completed with one year of study beyond the B.S. in Data Science.
The M.S. in Mathematics, or the M.S. in Statistics, or the M.S. in Data Science can be completed in one year of study beyond the B.S. in Mathematics.
How does it work?
Students may complete up to twelve credits of graduate coursework during their undergraduate program and count the credits toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees. Academic advisors help students create plans of study with this in mind. The remaining credit hours needed to complete a master's degree fit comfortably into one additional year of study.
