Daktronics Engineering Hall houses two departments, electrical engineering and computer science, and physics.
The lower floor is dedicated to electrical engineering researchers, whose laboratories range from energy storage to optics. The first floor has three dedicated student areas for study, several laboratories and classrooms.
The second floor of Daktronics Engineering Hall is home to the Chuck and Judy Waggoner Department Suite for electrical engineering and computer science. The physics main office is on this floor in addition to faculty offices, classrooms and undergraduate labs for both departments.
Third floor has the Richard and Karen McComish Power and Energy Systems Laboratory, where visitors can see what students are working on inside. Solar panels on the roof supply energy to the Microgrid research lab. The engineering research office and image processing laboratory are on this floor as well.
