  1. SDSU Phase Red: High Risk for Everyone Potential Community Considerations – increasing statewide running average for the rate of hospital admissions and/or potential for overwhelmed health system or designated by state government leaders or President of University
    1. Engineering Controls – (isolate people from the hazard)
      1. Close store.
    2. Administrative Controls – (change the way people work)
      1. All staff work remotely.
      2. Staff take technology and other resources home that enable them to successfully telecommute.
      3. Forward the store phone to the Director.
      4. Notify community of closure through social media and Brookings Register.
      5. Update Jackrabbit Central website to notify our patrons that the store is closed.
    3. Personal Protective Equipment (Protect the worker with Personal Protective Equipment)
      1. None.
  2. SDSU Phase Orange: Moderate Risk for Everyone but High Risk Individuals- running average for the statewide rate of hospital admissions does not increase over a 14-day period, local hospital is safely able to treat all patients, state is able to test all people with COVID-19 symptoms, state is able to conduct active monitoring of confirmed cases and their contacts OR designated by state government leaders or the President of University
    1. Engineering Controls – (isolate people from the hazard)
      1. Capacity Limits
        1. Retail area will be limited to 10 customers
        2. Peak traffic will be estimated from historic sales data and additional staff will be made available to monitor customers at point of entry to assure capacity limits are not exceeded.
      2. Entrance Procedures
        1. Keep front door propped open via its locking mechanism to reduce number of touchpoints – even though door is propped open, staff will still wipe down with sanitizer every 30 minutes or upon customer exiting store.
        2. Standing signage that will guide customers; will have University Branded signs
        3. Hand sanitizer station provided at front entrance: Installed 6-1-2020
      3. Check Out Area and Procedures
        1. Plexiglas barrier will be at register area: Installed 6-1-2020
          1. Cleaning cloths, isopropyl alcohol at desk to clean point of sale, credit card reader and checkout counter after every customer transaction.
          2. Pin pad protector was installed on 5-21-2020; sanitizer and wipes can be used on this.
          3. If a customer needs a pen, they will be given one and will take it with them.
          4. We will accept cash, hobo dough and credit cards
        2. Reference sheet from CDC with risks or feeling of illness will be posted at the register.

        9. Test Check-in processes in response to COVID-19
        10. Face coverings (Individuals are required to follow the current University and SDBOR face covering protocols.)

        1. Only one staff member will work at the downtown store each day.
        2. Encourage personal PPE, not required, or provided
        3. The following items will be provided for the employees during their shift.
          1. Sanitizing wipes
          2. Disinfectant Cleaner and rags (Provided by facilities and services)
          3. Standing hand sanitizer dispenser
          4. Plexiglas at register area
          5. Gloves for handling cash
      3. Hours of Operation
        1. Retail hours Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
        2. From 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. – staff will do the following:
          1. Wipe down entire register area; including Plexiglas.
          2. Wipe down all fixtures and shelving.
          3. Clean mirrors and front door
          4. Wipe down back door they use to go to the bathroom
          5. Vacuum Store
      4. Refunds and Exchanges – will not be accepted

SDSU Phase Yellow: Low Risk for Everyone but High Risk Individuals -Potential Community Considerations - running average for the statewide rate of hospital admissions consistently decreases over a 14-day period, local hospital and healthcare capacity is sufficient to meet demands, state is able to test all individuals with COVID-19 symptoms and has expanded to special population testing, state is able to conduct active monitoring of confirmed cases and contact tracing, state is gradually easing physical distancing restrictions to allow for monitoring at each step OR Designated by state government leaders or President of University
