Keeping You Connected.
University Networking and Research Computing maintains the core infrastructure network, including "hard wired" or "wired" network ports. This infrastructure enables connectivity to both the Internet 1 and Internet 2 networks. For reliable, high speed data connection and transfer look no further.
Faculty and Staff
Wired network ports are available in all campus buildings as well as external locations owned and operated by the university. Network cable drops can be requested, at an additional cost, when there isn't an available port for you to use. Ports are not activated by default but they can be activated by request.

Currently all residential halls are wired with active network ports. Upon arrival to your designated dorm, you should be able to plug in and connect to the campus Ethernet network.
