Join us on Thursday for Hobolympics to be part of the glory, the tradition, and - if you're good enough - cash and other prizes! This event consists of ridiculous relays and hobo-ic challenges intended for teams of four. Free food will be available to all participants following the event.
- When: Check-in at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3
- Where: Sylvan Green (Check-in at the Sylvan Theatre near the Campanile)
- Registration Fee: $5 per team before Sept. 22, $10 per team after Sept. 22
- First Place: $240.00
- Second Place: $120.00
- Third Place: $60.00
- Best Team Costume/Uniform: Surprise prize
- Best Team Spirit: Surprise prize
- Best Effort: Surprise prize
Basic Rules
- Teams must be comprised of four South Dakota State University students.
- The race will include a maximum of 40 teams (registering on a first-come, first-served basis).
- Each team must identify all four team members and provide the registration fee at or before the time of registration.
- No substitutions will be allowed after the start of the race.
- Each member of the team must participate in each game throughout the event
- Each team member must complete a waiver of liability and emergency contact form prior to the start of the games.
