Special accommodations

Accessible parking spaces are available on the south and east side of the Stanley J. Marshall Center.  Sign language interpreters are present at all commencement ceremonies. The interpreters will be located stage right.

SDSU wants to ensure you are able to celebrate with your graduate on this exciting occasion.  For that reason, we do not issue guest tickets nor do we limit the number of guests per graduate.

Please know seating is first come/first serve for all ceremonies, but there is adequate seating for all our guests.  SDSU offers accommodations for guests with disabilities and an attendant.  When you arrive, please see an  usher for this service.

Broadcast and Livestream

In addition, all ceremonies offer overflow seating in the Student Union for additional guests. Ceremonies are broadcast live on Mediacom Cable Channel 2, which serves the Brookings Area and surrounding communities. All ceremonies will also stream live on the Graduation main page

A professional photographer is present during graduation to take individual pictures of all graduates as they receive their diploma.  The photographer is provided with your graduate's name and permanent address and will contact him or her approximately one week after the graduation ceremony.
