Congratulations to Mukesh Roy.
He will be the first SDSU Engineering student to present his research work at the Nature Conference in New York.
Mukesh Roy, a current PhD student, has received acceptance from the Nature Conference: Plants of the Future to showcase his research work on the topic “Structure-Function and Compositional Investigation of Sunflower’s Stem Under Normal Growth Using Microscopy and Spectroscopy” at the New York University, NY on 13th June 2019. This event will be organized by the Nature Genetics, Nature Plants and New York University. He has also received a certificate from the Nature Masterclass after successful completion of the course requirements set by Nature for the “Scientific Writing and Publishing”.
“I was not prepared for this news. For this work, I had tried my best to put my hard work in the best possible way. The kind of guidance and support, I have received from my advisor (Dr. Prasad) is immense and priceless. The acceptance from nature conference has not only strengthen my thought and believe but it has also motivated me to aspire for big and achieve big for Bio-M-Lab and SDSU.” Said Roy, who is working on his doctorate in agricultural, bio-systems and mechanical engineering at SDSU.
