This course provides students an understanding of academic and administrative expectations within higher education.  Students will have a deeper understanding of teaching, research and service expectations in colleges and universities and be able to smoothly transition into a college teaching and/or research position.

Graduate Recognition Event

On April 24, 2018, the Graduate School held a recognition event for those students who successfully met the requirements of the Professional Development Program and for graduate student award winners for the 2017-18 academic year. Recipients were recognized and presented a certificate.

EndNote Training

Are you going to be working on your research this summer? EndNote is a piece of software available to all SDSU students that allows you to store all your citations and then insert them into your papers/thesis/dissertation in any of over 6000 citation formats. The software allows you to switch between citation formats easily and quickly. If you are interested in learning to use this software, there is a training session on Friday, May 4 from 3:00 to 5:00 in Briggs Library 125. You may bring your laptop with you or just follow along.
