Exciting research abounds at SDSU. As a Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a Research University with high research activity, graduate education programs are provided by six academic colleges with outstanding opportunities for your career development.
SDSU is a land grant institution with a proud tradition of offering a variety of excellent graduate programs. SDSU provides graduate studies in 50 graduate programs encompassing areas such as agriculture, engineering, social sciences, health sciences, education, biological sciences, nursing, computational sciences and statistics, and geospatial sciences. Whatever your interest, SDSU has a program for you!
SDSU offers MS, MA, MArch, MEd, MMC, MPH, MEng and PhD programs, as well as the Doctorate of Pharmacy and the Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Many of the Master’s programs offer a choice of thesis, design paper, or course-intensive pedagogies. At SDSU a faculty member will work closely with you to develop a research program and plan of study to match your particular interests.
