To promote the quality care of children through educating, supporting and connecting the individuals involved in their lives.

The Family Resource Network was established in 1990 as an outreach office at South Dakota State University to provide information and resources for users and providers of child care and their families. Currently, the Family Resource Network is a state and locally supported Early Childhood Enrichment (ECE) program which provides training, education and resources to adults who are involved in the day-to-day care of children and youth.
