The Brookings, South Dakota, community GPS Base is a cooperative effort between South Dakota State University, the City of Brookings, and Local GPS Users. The GPS Base is a Trimble 5700 receiver with a Trimble Zepher Geodetic antenna. It is mounted on the Northwest corner of the mechanical room on the roof of Crothers Engineering Hall on the Campus of South Dakota State University.
