South Dakota State University senior Jennifer (Johnson) Karlen, a music education major from De Smet, will present a recital at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in the Peterson Recital Hall.
Karlen, a mezzo-soprano, will be accompanied by Deb Kalsbeck and Katie Arndt. She is instructed by Dr. Emily Toronto. The recital will feature pieces about romance, love and faith.
South Dakota State University junior Katherine Housiaux, a music education and Spanish double-major from Brookings, will present a recital at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in the Peterson Recital Hall.
Housiaux, a mezzo-soprano, will be accompanied by Deb Kalsbeck. She is instructed by Dr. Emily Toronto. The recital will feature pieces from Johann Strauss, and Mexican and American folk songs.

Briggs Library has lots of ways to help students get through Finals Week! Study chow, coffee and lemonade will be served in the library lobby Sunday, April 30 – Tuesday, May 2 of Finals Week starting at 7 pm until supplies run out. Free mini-massages will be offered on Monday from 7 - 9 pm by Prairie Breeze Massage. Try our Van Gogh "Starry Night" Stick Together poster, where people can put colorful stickers on a grid to create the artwork. The poster will be up all week, along with a variety of board games and coloring sheets by the front desk.

EndNote is software designed to help you keep track of your citations and pdfs while you do research and to insert and format your citations and bibliography while you are writing. This two-hour session is an introduction to the software which is available to SDSU students, staff, and faculty. The session is designed for graduate students and faculty but all are welcome. If you wish to follow along on your own computer, please bring a laptop with the software already installed.
