Join us at the National History Day in South Dakota State Contest! A schedule of events will be posted in March 2020.
Stop by the museum during Museum Week 2020! Each day has a different theme, and we are hosting special events on May 13 (Debunked: What's in a Feed Bunk?) and May 17 (Storytime at the Museum). Check these events out for more details!
The South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum and other SDSU facilities will be closed until further notice. In addition, SDSU has announced that on-campus events and visitor activities are canceled at least through May 15. Find our booth at the Garden Discovery Festival! We will be set up at McCrory Gardens for a fun afternoon focusing on gardens. McCrory Gardens is located at 631 22nd Ave, Brookings.
As part of Museum Week that is celebrated nation-wide from May 11-17, we’re hosting an event focusing on the May 17 theme: stories! Join us as we read “Hey, Hey, Hay!” and complete a craft related to the story. This event is family friendly, free, and open to the public.
The Agricultural Heritage Museum will be closed on May 25 to celebrate the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen for normal hours on May 26 at 10 AM.
