On Monday, May 11, at 6:30 - 8:00 pm at McCrory Gardens Visitor Center, join members of the Brookings community for a facilitated dialogue and expert panel discussion about how to communicate about vaccine hesitancy, which is a complex and context-specific topic important to many people in our community.
Attendees will first engage in facilitated dialogue about vaccine hesitancy through watching and discussing clips from the 2022 documentary, Virulent. Attendees will then learn more about this topic from listening to a panel of local experts, including a physician, nurse, pharmacist, immunization advocate, and a health communication expert.
ANCC Approved Provider # N008480: South Dakota State University, College of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Completion of this activity awards 1.5 hours of Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD).
