Event Details

The Garden Party, started by Norm Evers, the Director of McCrory Gardens from 1984-2004, began as a way to launch sponsorship of special gardens and to show thanks to all who support the gardens as they continue to grow.

Free and Open to the Public

Join McCrory Gardens for a day of enjoyment and celebration! Classes, workshops, tours, live music, food and all around good fun. Following a 6 p.m. commemoration, SDSU ice cream will be served!
Free will donations accepted. 


10:00 a.m. - noon 

Coffee on the Terrace
The Spice & Tea Exchange will be providing samples of herbal tea
Treats provided by Brookings Bakery and Random Sweets

Tea in Ten Sessions
The Spice & Tea Exchange will be holding “Tea in Ten” sessions every hour – which will be all about herbal teas.Tami Brown will cover the basics of what tea is vs. what herbal is, along with offering free samples and the sessions will be based on interest, questions. All Spice & Tea Exchange offerings will be held in the Great Hall. No reservation required.   We would like to encourage people to stop, sip and learn!
