The Brookings Chamber Music Society will hold its third concert of the year at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Larson Memorial Concert Hall of the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU campus.
Kenny Broberg, a celebrated pianist, will be a featured soloist. A Minneapolis native, Broberg won the Silver Medal at the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. He later received the bronze medal from the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition.
Broberg will perform pieces such as Beethoven’s “Sonata No. 31 in A-flat major,” Faure’s “Nocturne No. 7 in C-sharp minor” and “Barcarolle No. 9 in A minor” and a sonata by Rachmaninoff contemporary Nikolai Medtner.
Although seating for this concert is limited, recent changes to COVID-19 pandemic protocols allow for the availability of additional tickets. The concert will not be live-streamed. Please call 605-688-5187 to purchase seats or for more information.
