John Lopez, world recognized welded art sculptor, will join us from his studio in Lemmon, near the North Dakota border in northwest South Dakota. We'll learn about his dramatic sculptures which are installed across the U.S. and around the world and his approach to creating them. Many in Brookings will recognize his "War Horse" that greets visitors to the Brookings Arts Council.

This is the second program in this year's virtual Guild talks. Join us for lively conversation and interesting speakers from across the U.S. with ties to South Dakota and the South Dakota Art Museum. The Guild provides invaluable support through programs like this, volunteering and art acquisition funds. Guild membership is not required to attend these free programs but the $20/year dues to join support these programs and the Guild's Art Acquisition Fund.
