The Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at South Dakota State University are excited to announce the 2018 SDSU Fall Conference will take place Aug. 15.
Peter Felten, professor of history, assistant provost for teaching and learning and executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning at Elon University, will be serving as the keynote speaker for the event.
The SDSU Fall Conference provides the campus community the opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the start of a new academic year. We are pleased to have an individual with Felten’s breadth of expertise in higher education joining us in August. The day will allow the campus community to explore the value of undergraduate education, the role of students and faculty as partners in teaching and learning, high impact pedagogical practices in the classroom, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for this engaging day of professional development. The full conference schedule will be available during the summer.
