Chad Albertson graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University in 2013. He went on to join IBM as a Functional Hardware Verification Engineer in the POWER/Cognitive Systems division.
In his time at IBM, Chad has spent most of his time working on hardware to accelerate computer workloads. This hardware includes CAPI (Coherent Accelerator Processor Interface), VAS (Virtual Accelerator Switchboard), NVLink (Nvidia Link), PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express), and CXL (Compute Express Link).
Chad is a native of Sioux Falls, SD. He currently lives in Rochester, MN, with his wife and two children. Outside of work he enjoys woodworking and automotive projects.
