Cohort 1: Non-Rural Alaskan Children

Class Nature Tours

The preschool class visited Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge on four occasions during the shoulder seasons. Twice in the "fall" before snow, and twice in the "spring" when the weather was warmer but snow still covered most of the ground. We invite you to click on the individual profiles for each child below and explore the children's favorite nature drawings, view video of their nature activities, and learn about their expressed preferences and interests in their environment.
