Taylor Winterton

Biography

Taylor Winterton is a 2025 PharmD candidate who is also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. She has worked as a pharmacy intern at Lewis Drug in Brookings and as a med passer at Edgewood. Through CPIC, she is working under a HRSA grant to teach a Strengthening Families course that provides families the tools become more of a family unit to promote growth within families that may have some communication issues. It is a program designed to help families through tough times and to provide support. She chose to work with CPIC because of her interest in public health. She hopes to take the leadership and research skills from her experience with CPIC and apply it to her future work.
