Biography
Originally from Virginia, I joined the South Dakota Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit in 1999 and currently serve as the Unit Leader. Education
Before joining the South Dakota Coop Unit, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Aquatic Ecology at the University of Illinois. I attended the University of Idaho (Ph.D.), West Virginia University (M.S.) and Davis & Elkins College (B.S.).Academic Interests

My research focuses primarily on aquatic food web ecology and bioenergetics of fishes. My students and I use quantitative tools such as energy budgets, diet analysis, stable isotopes, and foraging models to help address fisheries management questions.Department(s)
