Has served as an SDSU Agronomy Extension Field Specialist located in Pierre since 2011. Prior to that served as an Extension Educator for Hughes and Stanley Counties in central SD. Research and extension activities focus on production of winter and spring wheat, sunflowers, sorghum, oats, peas, lentils and corn in central and western SD.


Graduated with an MSc in Agronomy/Soils from SDSU in 1990.
BSc of Ag from the University of Manitoba, Canada

Extension Responsibilities

An agronomist with a diverse set of responsibilities that include private applicator training, central and western SD field school, no till management, cover crops, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, peas and lentils. I work an area that includes most of central and west central SD and write numerous iGrow articles each year.

Work Experience
