Biography

My name is Dr. Monty Bohrer. I came to SDSU in the fall of 2021 on a temp basis and was hired on full time in January of 2022. I live in Sioux Falls with my wife, Kelly, and we have 6 kids, 6 grandkids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. All of them of course live in the Sioux Falls area so it is blessing to have family around especially during the holidays. I have been in higher education now over 25 years and am excited to be a part of Jackrabbit nation. I believe that my experience in the professional world with companies such as GMAC, Gateway Computers and Oracle, to name a few, have given me a good perspective in the areas surrounding consumer affairs.
