Biography

Mr. John Mahlen is the Human Resource Assistant for the SDSU Army ROTC Military Science program. He and his wife Corinne reside in Watertown SD.
Mr. Mahlen served 31 years in the South Dakota Army National Guard with 23 years being a Full Time Active Guard Reserve (AGR). He deployed to Afghanistan with the 196th MEB from Sioux Falls, SD from 2010-2011. He retired as a Master Sergeant in 2012 and then served as one of our military science instructors from 2012-2014.
