Dr. Flint has been with SDSU since 1999. She earned her PhD in 1999 at the University of Texas at Arlington. She currently serves as the Assistant Department Head for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. She usually teaches Real Analysis and co-leads the Senior Capstone courses. Other courses she has taught include Honors Calculus II, Honors Colloquium (Numeracy), Advanced Calculus, Survey of Analysis, Topology, Linear Algebra, Matrix Algebra, Quantitative Literacy, College Algebra, Calculus sequence, Precalculus, Intro to Statistics, and various topics courses. She has also taught online courses from freshman level through graduate courses.

Dr. Flint is involved on campus as a member of the Undergraduate Student Experience Committee and the SSC Integration Team.

Dr. Flint is a member of The Mathematical Association of America, and is the Past President of the North Central Section of the MAA.
