Biography

A native of Pipestone, Minnesota, and current resident of Jasper, Minnesota. I have taught at the college level since 2001, including positions at Northwest Iowa Community College (Sheldon), Minnesota West (Pipestone), and, since 2005, at South Dakota State University.

Academic Interests

U.S. history, postwar Germany, local history, military history.

Academic Responsibilities

American history, western civ, and world history survey courses (Hist 112, 151, 152, 121, 122) and some upper division courses (American Environmental History).

Nominee for TRIO Student Services Students' Choice Award (2008).
