Allie Arp

Allie Arp is the director of marketing and communications for the SDSU College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. She leads communications efforts to support the university’s land-grant mission in research, extension and undergraduate education. Arp has more than a decade of experience in agriculture, science and higher education communication. She received her bachelor’s degree in public relations/professional writing from the University of Northern Iowa and her master’s degree in mass communication and journalism/agricultural education from Iowa State University, where her thesis focused on communicating biotechnology to a nonscience audience.
