Federal regulations require South Dakota State University to disclose whether its degree programs meet U.S. jurisdictions’ educational requirements for licensure (668.43(a)(5)(v) and 668.43(c)).

South Dakota State University also maintains this information for students and prospective students on state authorization.

Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement: The Chemistry (M.S.) – Chemical Education specialization program is designed for in-service science teachers with a valid teacher’s license.
