Undergraduate admissions applications are generally processed with 24-48 hours. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application. Look for a postcard in the mail announcing your admit status. An official letter of admissions will be sent approximately 2-3 weeks after your official admission to SDSU.

Interested in taking an online course through SDSU but not a full program? This is the place for you. We have a wide variety of courses available online that you may take for professional development or just for fun. Apply to SDSU as a non-degree seeking student. (Not eligible for financial aid.)
What You'll Need:
- Completed Admissions Application
- Choose “I do not plan to pursue a degree and will be taking courses as s non-degree seeking student. I understand that this educational goal does not qualify me to receive federal financial aid.”
- Indicate location as “Online”
- $0.00 Application Fee (i.e. fee waived)

Your application must be fully processed and you must be accepted by your department prior to registration.
Determine which course(s) you wish to enroll in and collect the following information from the Course Schedule: CRN/Synonym/5-Digit Reference Number, Department, Course Number, Section Number, Title, and Credits. Apply as a non-degree seeking student to bypass the standard graduate school application requirements. The Graduate School will complete your course registration and send you an email notification.
