Asphalt Materials Laboratory, located in Crothers Engineering Hall, houses a state-of-the-art laboratory facility equipped to conduct testing on aggregates and asphalt mixes. The facility supports several research projects in different areas of asphalt technology. In addition to research, the facility is used for instruction of Asphalt Materials and Mix Design (CEE 411/511) course. The Asphalt Materials Laboratory is equipped with several major pieces of equipment, as follows:
