The Chemistry and Biochemistry department provides undergraduate and graduate research opportunities, affording a place where students can put the content knowledge gained in instructional lectures and labs into practice. Research experiences not only will provide direct exposure to research and research training, they may also serve as a source of financial aid as scholarships and department awards are given each year. Many of the research-related positions are paid, providing applicable experience to the next stage in your career development.
The faculty will serve as a resource for you throughout your research experiences, creating dynamic, engaging atmosphere of discovery in the laboratory and providing you with a thorough knowledge of new and advancing fields.
