Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex, also known as the S-JAC, is an indoor training and competition facility on the northeast side of campus.
The S-JAC, located north of Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, has an eight-lane, 300-meter track and a 100-yard soy-based synthetic turf practice field. There are also areas for sports medicine, physical therapy and hydrotherapy, athlete training and strength and conditioning. Observation rooms and office space are located in the S-JAC as well. To get a perspective of its size, the facility can hold 9.1 million bushels of corn or the Mount Rushmore Monument.
Everything from track and field meets to The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band performances can be held in the S-JAC, which has bleachers, restroom facilities and concessions.
